Freshness first
Produce is bought daily and picked for your order the same day it leaves us — never pulled from long-term storage.
We started as a single market stall with one simple promise: sell the food we would happily put on our own family's table — and never cut a corner to do it.
We opened in 2009 with three trestle tables and a van. Our founders spent every morning at the growers' market choosing produce by hand, then drove it straight to the people who ordered it. That habit never changed — we still buy daily, and we still refuse anything we would not eat ourselves.
Today we work directly with more than 120 Australian growers, fishers and farmers. Cutting out the middle steps means shorter time from harvest to your kitchen, a fairer price for the people who grow it, and produce that actually tastes like it should.
We are still family-run. The people packing your order are the same people you will speak to if something is not right — and we will make it right.
Four things we will not compromise on, no matter how busy it gets.
Produce is bought daily and picked for your order the same day it leaves us — never pulled from long-term storage.
We name our growers and pay them fairly. If we cannot tell you where something came from, we do not sell it.
Cold items travel in insulated liners, fragile items are packed last, and a real person checks every order before it leaves.
If anything arrives below standard, tell us and we will refund or replace it — no receipts to hunt down, no argument.
Fresh when it arrives, or we replace it. That has been the deal since day one, and it still is.
